History of the Company

OTEIC founders were pioneer professionals coming from high-responsibility management positions in various organizations. Their vision was to address optimization and continuous improvement by combining already proven methodologies with other innovative ones. The accumulated experience and knowledge were seeding future generations of OTEIC consultants who, over the following decades, have successfully carried out their work in thousands of companies.

You would expect businesses and public offices to be on reduced hours or closed altogether during August in Spain. So the fact that OTEIC was founded on August 17th shows the passion and readiness of the company, understanding the needs and realities of our clients. We are with our clients wherever they are and whenever they need us. A fundamental principle for a company providing professional services to organizations in a dynamic world.

At first, OTEIC was mainly focused on the optimization of industrial processes. Since then, our teams have improved productivity for important companies by working on Production plants (lay-out’s) design and redesign, flows analysis, process reviews or times and costs definition among other projects, searching for efficiency, while ensuring development of people and profitability.

In parallel, new areas were also developed. The People Management and Organizational Structures Consulting Area was created answering to organization´s needs for design and expansion of structures, development of remuneration policies, search for talent or development of management systems. commitment.

The Strategy Area team was also set up. The strategy field was born in the 1960s by names such as Igor Ansoff or Peter Drucker and developed by OTEIC with its own methodology for strategic thinking and planning, applying a practical and efficient approach with clients.

Our Legal Advice and Family Business team developed the first “Family Business Protocols” (then known as “Partner Agreements”) and has spent decades working on complex projects to solve legal challenges and support family businesses sustainability.

Our background, own methodologies and, above all, our diverse and multidisciplinary team from different fields (Engineering, Economics, Law, Humanities, Chemistry or Architecture, among others) are the key pillars for OTEIC to offer a comprehensive service adapted to each client and each type of project, since 1966.
